i would like to open a us bank account for non-us residents..i want legit not scam site..

anyone here can help me open one..please pm me

This has been asked many times in this forum, a quick search should find the answers you're looking for.

I did a quick search didn't find anything. If you have any idea just give us the URL of the BANK.

Gee I wouldn't touch etrade with a 30 feet pole.

Man, they had a lot of issues with security lately, accounts hacked , money stolen etc.

Believe me I know what I'm talking about . I trade stocks and futures for a living.
And any well informed trader knows, you'd better forget about Etrade.

Nothing personal with the last poster.

I just don't want to see people losing their money this way.

Can you point me to any forums indicating these problems? Was preparing to open an account with them myself but if you think they're dodgy I'd like to know more

ohhh accounts hacked are due to the owners negligence, phishing or due to the site's security issues? There is a difference in it...

Yup maybe it's some customer not really smart, but the fact is this stuff is not happening at this rate with other Brokers/banks

Just come over and open one...My bf is a brit, and when we were in Florida on holiday, he walked into a Wachovia branch and opened a checking acct...Statements went to his UK residence initially,( since then we've built a place in Fl., and they now go to the house there)...He's not in the states much more than a month to 6 weeks a year, and they have both addresses in their files...He has funds from different things wired into it all the time...Uses internet banking, etc...Never any probs.
